Edition 2025 — NONSONOCOSA

The first edition of NONSONOCOSA took place in May 2025 at the Selinunte Archaeological Park, marking the birth of the Social Photography Festival in Castelvetrano. Featuring archival exhibitions, displays by internationally renowned artists, and free workshops, the event involved forty aspiring local photographers of all ages in a basic photography course.

NONSONOCOSA 2025 – the first edition

In May 2025, the first edition of the NONSONOCOSA Social Photography Festival took place at the Selinunte Archaeological Park, in the municipality of Castelvetrano, in the province of Trapani. The initiative brought contemporary photography among the ruins of the Greek temples for the first time.

The program alternated between archival exhibitions, displays by internationally renowned artists, and free workshops, including a basic photography course that involved forty aspiring local photographers of all ages. From its debut, the festival affirmed its social vocation, founded on values of inclusivity and sharing, laying the foundations for a cultural event destined to grow in Sicily.
