Edition 2025 — May Fair

In 2025, the May Fair once again celebrated the Abruzzo peasant civilization in Nocciano. The traditional parade of the cart pulled by two majestic white oxen, adorned with red and green garlands and guided by a young man standing tall, returned to the historic center in an atmosphere smelling of freshly baked bread and spring.

The 2025 edition of the Nocciano May Fair renewed the May Day ritual in the Pescara village. The absolute protagonist was the cart pulled by white oxen, hand-painted with floral motifs and guided with pride through the crowd of residents, children, and visitors.

The day combined the blessing and thanksgiving to the animals of the agricultural civilization, the exhibition of local businesses, stalls of typical products, and local crafts, confirming the Fair as one of the defining events for the Nocciano community and the hinterland of the Province of Pescara.
