Nextones

The 2025 edition brought some of the most relevant names in the international electronic and experimental scene to Val d'Ossola. The opening on July 17 was held at Terme di Premia, with Hydromantique, an underwater listening session by Michela de Mattei with Palm Wine, and a dance and sound performance by Brìghde Chaimbeul and Lara Damaso, blending Scottish bagpipes and movement. July 18 was dedicated to Aya & MFO with hexed!. On July 19, the headline evening at Tones Teatro Natura brought together British Murder Boys with Active Agents and House Boys, Buttechno with Endless Xpire, Caterina Barbieri & Space Afrika with Last Track, Ehua, and Objekt & CCL. An edition that confirmed Nextones as an avant-garde laboratory of electronic experimentation, audiovisual performances, and site-specific works in dialogue with the landscape of Val d'Ossola and the province of Verbano-Cusio-Ossola.
