New Year's Eve Concert in Piazza Duomo

For New Year's Eve 2025, the Piazza Duomo in Ortigia, Syracuse, hosted a free concert that welcomed the arrival of the new year starting at 10:30 PM on December 31, 2024.

The evening opened with Babil On Suite, a Catania-based collective of musicians, DJs, and producers active for over ten years with significant live collaborations. At midnight, AKA 7even (stage name of Luca Marzano) took the stage, one of the most promising figures in the Italian urban-pop scene, performing his best-known hits. The night concluded with a DJ set by Ornella P, for those who wanted to keep celebrating until late. The evening was hosted by Mimmo Contestabile, who guided the audience through the countdown to the new year.
