Edition 2025 — Nettle Festival

The 11th edition of the Nettle Festival took place in Sambuca Val di Pesa from Friday, June 20, to Sunday, June 22, 2025. Three days dedicated to the gastronomic tradition of the Chianti region based on nettles, with lasagne, chicken, and rosticciana, competitions between the districts, shows, and outdoor activities. Highlights included the photography exhibition along the public gardens and the Sunday evening "Quasi uguale Show".

The 2025 edition of the Nettle Festival, the 11th, was held in Sambuca Val di Pesa (Barberino Tavarnelle, FI) from June 20 to 22. Promoted by the Sambuca Pro Loco under president Paolo Beni, the festival reprised its proven formula: nettle-based dishes, competitions between the village districts, shows, and convivial moments in the heart of the Florentine Chianti.

The food stand served nettle lasagne, chicken, and rosticciana, open for dinner every evening from 7:00 PM and for lunch on Saturday and Sunday from 12:00 PM. Along the public gardens, a citizen photography exhibition celebrated the beauty of the Barberino Tavarnelle hills, while Sunday evening featured the "Quasi uguale Show" by the Sambuchine Doc.
