Edition 2025 — Nel Senio della Memoria

The XXII edition of Nel Senio della Memoria took place on Friday, April 25, 2025, on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the Liberation from Nazism. For the first time, all nine Municipalities of the Bassa Romagna Union participated, with the walk of about 18 km along the banks of the Senio between Cotignola and Alfonsine, marked by eight stops, storytelling, and musical moments.

The XXII edition of Nel Senio della Memoria was held on Friday, April 25, 2025, coinciding with the 80th anniversary of the Liberation. For the first time, the walk saw the participation of all nine Municipalities of the Bassa Romagna Union.

Departures took place at 9:00 AM from Cotignola (Gino Zoli square) and Alfonsine (Museum of the Battle of the Senio), with the option of a bicycle route starting from Masiera. Along the banks of the Senio, eight stops were set up at symbolic sites of the front line, including the Cippo dei Martiri del Senio and the San Potito embankment, with a community lunch at Masiera Park. The day featured alternating readings, theatrical performances, and numerous musical moments curated by local artists and schools.
