Edition 2025 — Porcini Mushroom Festival
The 9th edition of the Nebrodi Porcini Mushroom Festival took place on Saturday, October 18, 2025, in Alcara li Fusi, from 3:00 PM until late evening. Organized by Pro Loco Akaret with the support of the municipality, it featured porcini-based food stalls, guided tours of the village, a scientific table on mushrooms, a children's area, and live music.
9th Porcini Mushroom Festival — October 18, 2025
The ninth edition was held on Saturday, October 18, 2025, in the historic center of Alcara li Fusi (ME), from 3:00 PM until late evening, with the official inauguration at 5:00 PM. The day combined gastronomy, culture, and Nebrodi traditions.
- Guided tours of the village starting in the afternoon;
- Food stalls with appetizers, pasta, main courses, and side dishes featuring porcini mushrooms;
- Scientific table "Discovering Mushrooms" with mycological experts;
- Children's area with inflatables and games;
- Live music with the De Colores Band and the show "Voyager — a tribute to Gigi D'Agostino".
The event, organized by Pro Loco Akaret, confirmed the festival as one of the most popular autumn events in the Nebrodi area.
