Ndrucciullune Festival

The first edition, July 5, 2025

The first Ndrucciullune Festival was held on Saturday, July 5, 2025, in Pollutri, chosen as the highlight day to celebrate the first ten years of the Pro Loco Pollutri APS. The festival combined taste, art, and music into a single program.

From 6:00 PM, seventy panels of the Crochet Flower Festival were inaugurated and exhibited, ten of which were created by the embroiderers of Pollutri, as part of the fourth stop of the traveling tour by the Pro Loco of San Salvo. At 7:00 PM, a thanksgiving Mass was celebrated in the Church of the Santissimo Salvatore, followed by institutional greetings at the “Paolo Pepe” Multipurpose Center. From 8:30 PM, in Piazza Giovanni Paolo I, the tasting began: ndrucciullune as the main course, the typical fried pizza stuffed with mortadella and local ventricina, and desserts, including cantucci and Nutella-filled fried pizza. The evening was enlivened by live music from the Cugini di Champagne and a DJ set by Luigi Di Virgilio and Gianluca D'Ovidio.
