Edition 2025 — 'Ndremmappi Festival
The 2025 festival in Jenne
The first weekend of September 2025, the village of Jenne, in the province of Rome and within the Monti Simbruini Regional Natural Park, hosted its most anticipated festival. On Friday, September 5, the evening was dedicated to pan-fried pizzas, and on Saturday, September 6, to 'ndremmappi, the whole-wheat pasta made of water, salt, and flour from the local mill, dressed with tomato and anchovies.
The 2025 edition arrived a few months after the trademark recognition granted by the Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy, which was added to the inclusion of the dish among the Traditional Agri-food Products of the Lazio Region. The festival, managed by the volunteers of the Pro Loco Jenne, attracted visitors from Subiaco, the Aniene Valley, and Rome, amidst tastings, local wine, and folk music.
