Twenty years of gnocchi in Nazzano

The 2025 edition marked an important milestone: the twentieth Gnocchi Festival of the village of Nazzano, in the Metropolitan City of Rome. The event took place on Sunday, March 30, with stalls open in Piazza della Rocca from 12:30 PM to 5:30 PM.

The menu followed the formula perfected by the Pro Loco: strictly handmade gnocchi, served with mutton ragù for those seeking the bolder flavor of pastoral tradition, or with tomato sauce for a more delicate version. This was followed by mutton stew, grilled sausages, country-style chicory, and fries, all washed down with local wine.

In 2025, the day was once again part of the village's early spring celebrations, drawing families and visitors from neighboring towns in the Tiber Valley and Sabina to the square.
