Edition 2025 — Nature's Curtain

Nature's Curtain was officially established in 2026 as a new theatre festival at the Maremma Natural History Museum. In 2025, the Grosseto museum already offered a rich calendar of educational activities, workshops, and family initiatives dedicated to nature and biodiversity, which paved the way for the creation of this theatre festival for young audiences.

Before the debut of Nature's Curtain in 2026, the Maremma Natural History Museum in Grosseto enlivened 2025 with guided tours, children's workshops, and environmental education activities, confirming its role as a space open to the community. It was precisely from this tradition of outreach aimed at children and families that the idea for a permanent theatre festival capable of combining science, nature, and live performance in the heart of the Maremma was born.
