Naturalmente San Donato: EcoFestival in the Village

The second edition of the eco-festival, organized by the Pro Loco San Donato in Poggio with the support of Cesvot, the Municipality of Barberino Tavarnelle, and ChiantiBanca, spanned two days. Saturday, May 17: environmental clean-up with Plastic Free Onlus (meeting at the Coop parking lot), craft market along Via del Giglio, creative painting and reuse workshops in Piazza Malaspina, folk singer-songwriter music by Jamila, a discussion on sustainability and biodiversity, and in the evening, the 'Cerimonia elettrica' and Latin American rhythms by Sal Duende. Sunday, May 18: the 'Spring of Butterflies' nature excursion at the Multifunctional Observatory, the 'Unusual San Donato' historical walk, the craft market, creative workshops, the White Voices Choir concert, the Colibresss Aerial Show, and the Afro-tropical DJ set by Didjie Doo. Collaborators included Legambiente, Plastic Free, and the Chianti Multifunctional Observatory.
