National Truffle Hunter Day – Festival of Associations

In 2025, Savigno confirmed its role as a benchmark for truffle culture in Emilia-Romagna. The activities of truffle hunters and the association Il Tartufo APS continued throughout the year with the care of natural truffle grounds, truffle dog search competitions, and awareness initiatives on forest environment protection. It was precisely from this groundwork that the idea of the Festival of Associations and the request for a National Truffle Hunter Day matured, which would take official form in June 2026. Savigno, a village in Valsamoggia honored with the title of Truffle City, thus prepared the ground for a new early summer event, complementary to the renowned autumn festival Tartófla.
