National Summer Black Truffle Fair «Trifola nOiR»

The first edition of «Trifola nOiR» marked the birth in Murisengo, in the Province of Alessandria, of a fair entirely dedicated to the summer black truffle (Tuber aestivum). The event enhanced the truffle-hunting vocation of the Lower Asti Monferrato, combining the truffle market with tastings of typical products, street food, and local food and wine specialties. The ancient village and the castle park provided the setting for a widespread festival that combined taste, tradition, and landscape, setting the stage for the growth recorded in subsequent editions.
