Edition 2025 — Castles Days Riccia
In 2025, the National Castles Days also opened fortified architecture to the public throughout Italy, including Molise, as part of the annual initiative by the Italian Institute of Castles to protect fortified heritage.
The National Castles Days have for decades represented the event through which the Italian Institute of Castles opens manors and fortresses normally inaccessible to the public. In 2025, the initiative again involved numerous regions, with Molise among the territories concerned. In 2026, the village of Riccia (CB) joined the circuit with the extraordinary opening of its De Capua Castle, confirming the growing involvement of Molise's fortified heritage in the event.
