Edition 2025 — Bird Fair

The 2025 edition of the National Bird Fair took place in September at the Park of Villa Baciocchi in Capannoli, confirming the event's great appeal: over 30,000 birds, traditional singing competitions starting in the morning, the ornithological trade fair, and stands featuring typical Valdera products. Thousands of visitors and enthusiasts enlivened the village throughout the day, amidst exhibitions, children's entertainment, and music in the square.

The 2025 edition of the National Bird Fair renewed a tradition spanning over sixty years in Capannoli, within the Park of Villa Baciocchi. From 7:00 AM, the park hosted singing competitions dedicated to various bird species, while the large ornithological trade fair unfolded along Via Volterrana with over 30,000 specimens, including songbirds, exotic and ornamental species, and farm animals.

There was no shortage of stands featuring typical Valdera products, local crafts, activities for children, and evening performances in the square. The event, organized by the Municipality of Capannoli with the support of volunteers, confirmed its status as one of the most important ornithological and livestock events in Italy, with free admission.
