From December 17 to 20, 2025, the village of Ganzirri, a district of Messina, hosted a new edition of the Natale sui Laghi market, organized by the Pro Loco Capo Peloro. Along Via Lago Grande, on the shores of the Lago Grande, the wooden chalets welcomed visitors with continuous hours from 10:00 AM to 11:00 PM, extended until midnight on the weekend.

Among the stalls, there was no shortage of handicrafts, Christmas decorations, traditional sweets, and street food, while the atmosphere was enlivened by live shows and music. The evocative floating nativity scene on the lake was also confirmed, as always a symbol of the Ganzirri Christmas and a tribute to the tradition of mussel farming. The event was part of the wider Capo Peloro holiday program, with initiatives spread across Ganzirri, Granatari, and Torre Faro.
