Natale dei Begai 2025
On Sunday, December 21, 2025, Massimeno celebrated its Natale dei Begai, opening its doors and heart to visitors as the village's invitation promised. Artisans and artists from all over Val Rendena gathered in the village streets to bring ancient crafts to life: the knife grinder, the baker, the woodcutter, the spinners, the miller, and the cheesemaker. The air was filled with the scent of freshly made cheese, while singers performed cheerful Christmas carols and the sounds of alphorns and bagpipes echoed.
The event, organized by the Municipality of Massimeno, confirmed its intimate and authentic formula: a single day of celebration in the smallest village in Trentino, in the province of Trento, capable of attracting visitors in search of the most genuine mountain Christmas atmosphere.
