Natale al Borgo in Cugnoli

The second edition of Natale al Borgo in Cugnoli was held on November 29 and 30, 2025, from 10:00 am to 9:00 pm, enlivening the historic center of the town in the province of Pescara. The market brought together over 55 artisans selected from Abruzzo and other regions — ceramicists, sculptors, illustrators, and creators of wooden objects, textiles, nativity scenes, and Christmas decorations — with a special focus on the fondaci, the ancient stone spaces reopened only for the event.

On the musical front, the Precious Gospel Singers performed, accompanied by melodies drifting from the bell tower, traditional bagpipers, and roving performances. For families, illustrator Alessia Roselli led animated readings and creative workshops for children. The event also featured the lighting of the large Christmas tree, illuminations in the alleys, and typical gastronomy: hot roasted chestnuts, mulled wine, crêpes, cotton candy, and Abruzzese sweets.
