Mythos Troina Festival 2025
The 2025 edition of the Mythos Troina Festival was held in Troina (Province of Enna, Sicily) from July 4 to August 10, under the artistic direction of Luigi Tabita and with the patronage of INDA. The common thread was myth through a female perspective, with a lineup of nine performances, six of which were national premieres.
The festival opened on July 4 with the national premiere of "L'Odissea delle donne", directed by Cinzia Maccagnano with an all-female cast led by Federica Di Martino. Among the most anticipated events were "La morte della Pizia" with Veronica Pivetti (July 11) and the closing on August 10 with "Medea", performed by Laura Morante and directed by Daniele Costantini.
The Assoli section, hosted in the Torre Capitania and also reserved for under-35s, featured titles such as "La guerra svelata di Cassandra" with Gaia Aprea, "Antigone non muore" with Clara Galante, and "Drone Tragico" by the Teatrino Giullare company, completing an edition rich in special events and training workshops.
