Mycology Day and Mushroom Festival

On Sunday, September 28, 2025, Santopadre hosted the Mycology Day and Mushroom Festival, an autumn event organized by the Pro Loco in collaboration with the Municipality of Santopadre as part of the 'Autumn Paths'.

The program opened in the early morning with a guided excursion to discover the woods and trails of the Santopadre area, followed by workshops and in-depth sessions with industry experts dedicated to identifying mushroom species. Throughout the day, the public was able to follow the culinary trail with tastings of mushroom-based dishes, prepared according to traditional Ciociaria recipes.

The event confirmed the vocation of Santopadre, a small hilltop village in the province of Frosinone, as a point of reference for enthusiasts of mycology and typical Lazio products.
