Edition 2025 — Musicometa

The 2025 edition of Musicometa renewed the appointment with great organ music in the churches of Rome during the Christmas period. Under the artistic direction of Livia Mazzanti, the festival offered free concerts between Christmas and Epiphany, enhancing the Capital's historic organs and hosting prominent performers from the international organ scene.

In January 2025, Musicometa confirmed its vocation as a musical journey between Christmas and Epiphany in the Catholic and Evangelical churches of Rome. The festival, conceived and directed by organist Livia Mazzanti, has been offering a refined organ repertoire for over thirty years, ranging from Baroque music to the 20th century, often in dialogue with other instruments and the voice.

Faithful to the formula that has made it an anticipated event in the Roman musical calendar, the 2025 edition took place with free admission, bringing the general public closer to the heritage of the Capital's historic organs, in the Municipality of Rome and the Lazio territory. Concerts in the naves of ancient churches, between solemn sounds and intimate atmospheres, accompanied the public towards Epiphany.
