MusicMediale Festival

The 2025 edition of MusicMediale paid homage to Luciano Berio on the centenary of his birth. The festival opened on June 21 at the Municipal Theater with a chamber opera featuring video and electronics, performed by the Contemporary Ensemble and the Nicolini Conservatory Choir. In the following days, there were electronic music concerts in the Seminary Courtyard, lectures by philosopher Carlo Serra, the multidisciplinary installation by Ali Hosseini in the '694 Spaces, and a masterclass by Artemi Maria Gioti on the relationship between artificial intelligence and music at the XNL venues. The grand finale, on July 6 in the Conservatory Cloister, combined videomapping and electronic music in an immersive closing evening.
