Edition 2025 — Camerata Musicale Sulmonese

The 72nd Musical Season of the Camerata Musicale Sulmonese took place from October 27, 2024, to April 6, 2025, at the Teatro Maria Caniglia in Sulmona, featuring 22 evenings, 6 symphony orchestras, two operas, and approximately 700 musicians, under the artistic direction of Maestro Gaetano Di Bacco. The program included opera, grand symphonic music, gospel, ballet, and the traditional New Year's Day Concert with a celebratory toast.

The 72nd Musical Season of the Camerata Musicale Sulmonese opened on Sunday, October 27, 2024, with a concert by the Severočeská Filharmonie Teplice, a historic orchestra from Northern Bohemia, and concluded on April 6, 2025, with Mendelssohn's cantata Die erste Walpurgisnacht, performed for the first time in Abruzzo.

The 22-evening program featured: the operas La bohème by Puccini (December 1) and Carmen by Bizet (February 23); the traditional "Christmas triptych" with gospel by the Benedict Gospel Choir, the ballet Swan Lake by the Russian Classical Ballet, and the New Year's Day Concert with the RTV Symphony Orchestra of Kiev; as well as the special project "Morricone in AI," featuring famous soundtracks accompanied by images generated with artificial intelligence.
