Musical Evenings at the Castle – Piacenza Classica Festival

San Giorgio Piacentino in Musica 2025

The 2025 summer edition took place from June 7 to 29 in the Hall of Honour of the Castle of San Giorgio, with six chamber music events linked to the Piacenza Classica Festival.

• June 7 — Opera Fantasies: Leonardo Zoncati (clarinet) and Ivan Maliboshka (piano), music by Della Giacoma, Bassi, and Sarasate
• June 13 — Where the Echo Vibrates: Davide Sensales (tenor) and Ivan Maliboshka (piano), music by Verdi, Giordano, Puccini, Liszt, and Tosti
• June 14 — Beethoven for 8 Hands: Symphony No. 8 transcribed for two pianos, eight hands
• June 21 — Piano Workshop with Antonio Tarallo
• June 22 — Soirée Française: Leonardo Zoncati (clarinet) and Ivan Maliboshka (piano), music by Saint-Saëns, Chausson, and Debussy
• June 29 — Between Light and Fire: Monica Righi (cello) and Ivan Maliboshka (piano), Beethoven and de Falla

All concerts were held in the Municipality of San Giorgio Piacentino, province of Piacenza, with free admission.
