Edition 2025 — Musicae Amoeni Loci

The XXII edition of Musicae Amoeni Loci took place from June 29 to August 24, 2025, with an appendix on October 26, offering 12 concerts of ancient and choral music in the historic venues of the province of Pesaro and Urbino. Under the artistic direction of Willem Peerik, the Jubilate Choir of Candelara highlighted historical figures of the territory through music, dance, and words, with free admission by donation to the "Città dei Ragazzi Sorridenti" mission.

Musicae Amoeni Loci 2025 — XXII Edition

The XXII edition of the festival was held from June 29 to August 24, 2025, with a concluding concert on October 26, featuring 12 events of ancient and choral music in Pesaro, Candelara, Gradara, Mombaroccio, Terre Roveresche, Monteciccardo, and Sant'Angelo in Lizzola.

The program intertwined music, dance, and words to rediscover the beauty and historical figures of the territory. Among the most evocative moments were the dawn concerts at Monte Santa Marta in Monteciccardo and the Olive Garden in Gradara. Admission by free donation was allocated to the "Città dei Ragazzi Sorridenti" mission, confirming the festival's charitable vocation, organized by the Jubilate Choir of Candelara under the artistic direction of Willem Peerik.

  • August 3, Pieve di Santo Stefano (Candelara) — "Jubilate o Amoeni Chori"
  • August 9, Gradara Castle — "The Madness of Paolo and Francesca"
  • August 10, Monte Santa Marta (Monteciccardo) — Don Quixote, at dawn
  • August 17, Cloister of San Marco (Mombaroccio) — "Intrecci di gusto" (Intertwining Tastes)
  • August 24, Olive Garden (Gradara) — "Amarilli's Sweet Awakening", at dawn

Highlights

Among the most evocative moments of the XXII edition were the dawn concerts in Monteciccardo and Gradara, and the concert "Jubilate o Amoeni Chori" celebrating the 25th anniversary of the Jubilate Choir.
