Musica sulle Apuane – Concert in Benabbio

The 2025 edition (the thirteenth) of Musica sulle Apuane brought one of the most anticipated events of the program to Benabbio, a hamlet of Bagni di Lucca. On Sunday, July 6, at 5:30 PM, in the Church of Santa Maria Assunta, the Quartetto Floria performed, composed of Luisa Bellitto and Tommaso Vannucci on violins, Jörg Winkler on viola, and Patrizio Serino on cello, all principal players of the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino Orchestra. The program included Mozart's String Quartet No. 19 in C major K465 "Dissonance", Shostakovich's String Quartet No. 8 in C minor Op. 110, and Borodin's String Quartet No. 2 in D major. The concert, organized in collaboration with the Michel de Montaigne Foundation, was preceded at 4:00 PM by a guided tour of the Benabbio museum. Free admission.
