Edition 2025 — Musica in Fortezza

The 2025/2026 season of Musica in Fortezza kicked off on November 9, 2025, at the Fortress of Montecarlo, with a series of candlelit concerts preceded by a guided tour of the castle. Autumn-winter highlights included a tribute to Astor Piazzolla, The Music of the House of Lorraine, the Strauss Waltz, and Christmas concerts, featuring renowned artists under the artistic direction of Roberto Bencivenga.

Musica in Fortezza 2025

The start of the 2025/2026 season of Musica in Fortezza, in the municipality of Montecarlo in the province of Lucca, took place starting from November 9, 2025. Autumn-winter events included: the Tribute to Astor Piazzolla with Massimo Signorini on accordion, The Music of the House of Lorraine with soprano Patrizia Cigna, a concert with soprano Maria Cioppi, and the Christmas Concert on December 20. Following the festival's formula, each evening combined a guided tour of the Fortress illuminated by candles and torches with a live concert at 5:00 PM.

Full price 20 euros, reduced for residents 15 euros, including guided tour and concert.
