Edition 2025 — MusHic et Nunc

The 2025 edition of MusHic et Nunc enlivened Montalcino with four chamber music concerts held between the Fortress Gardens and the Church of Sant'Agostino. The program featured saxophone and percussion duos, violin and piano recitals, a baroque ensemble, and a grand finale with a wind orchestra, showcasing young talents from the Franci Conservatory of Siena.

MusHic et Nunc 2025

The 2025 edition took place in Montalcino from July 28 to August 1, across the Fortress Gardens and the Church of Sant'Agostino, under the festival's artistic direction and organized by the Rinaldo Franci Conservatory of Siena and the Filarmonica G. Puccini.

  • July 28 — Saxophone and percussion concert with music by Dubois, Heilborn, and others, in the Fortress Gardens
  • July 29 — Baroque ensemble in the Church of Sant'Agostino, with a program dedicated to Bach and Handel
  • July 30 — Violin and piano concert with works by Brahms, Respighi, and Debussy, in the Fortress Gardens
  • August 1 — Grand finale with the Arcadia Wind Orchestra and a symphonic poem inspired by the Odyssey, in collaboration with the Società Filarmonica G. Puccini

A journey that confirmed the festival's vocation to promote young Italian classical music performers within the historic setting of Montalcino, in the province of Siena.
