Muntagninjazz 2025 in Campo di Giove

The 19th edition of Muntagninjazz took place from July 29 to August 21, 2025, involving nine municipalities of the Peligna Valley and Central Abruzzo with about 150 artists and 24 concerts in squares, forests, and mountains, organized by Muntagninjazz APS with the support of the Abruzzo Region and the Ministry of Culture.

In Campo di Giove, the stop was held on Sunday, August 10, 2025, with a hike-concert at Guado di Coccia, the high-altitude pass in the heart of the Majella National Park. The protagonist of the day was Amorklab, a Balkan-inspired brass band: six musicians with a folk repertoire embellished by the voice of the Turkish singer Şelen Çapacı, capable of weaving melodies from Anatolia, Thrace, and the Balkans. The Campo di Giove event, together with that of Anversa degli Abruzzi, was included in the national project I-Jazz "Trasform-Azioni", which involved some of the main Italian festivals and included the creation of a podcast on the identity narrative of the host territories. The day confirmed the festival's vocation to combine live music, hiking, and the enhancement of the Abruzzo natural heritage.
