The 2025 edition of the Muliebris Festival

The 2025 edition of the Muliebris Festival was held in Capaci (Palermo) from August 28 to 30, in Piazza Matrice, confirming the festival as one of the town's cultural highlights of the summer. The program intertwined entertainment and reflection, alternating between musical and theatrical performances, dance moments, and opportunities for discussion on the role of women in society and the dynamics leading to gender-based violence.

The edition opened on August 26 with the inauguration of the photography exhibition «Vedi cara, difficile da spiegare» by local artist Elisabetta Bondì, which explored the female figure through what is hidden in the gazes and silences of women. Among the musical offerings of the festival was the recital by the Menestrella Femminista. The event, organized by the Capaci Women's Council with the patronage of the Municipality, was held with free admission, subject to availability.

Three evenings in Piazza Matrice (August 28-30), preceded by the photography exhibition by Elisabetta Bondì «Vedi cara, difficile da spiegare» inaugurated on August 26.
