Edition 2025 — Mugello Sonoro - Scarperia
The Mugello Sonoro Music Contest was born in the summer of 2025 as the first edition of a traveling competition conceived by the Pro Loco associations of the Mugello. The festival took place from June 13 to September 5, 2025, with seven free-admission evenings, visiting the villages of the Florentine valley: San Piero a Sieve (Parco Antonio Berti), Scarperia (Palazzo dei Vicari), Bivigliano, Borgo San Lorenzo (Piazza Dante), Barberino, and Vaglia.
The Scarperia stage, scheduled for June 27, 2025, was one of the qualifying evenings. Out of over thirty applications received, sixteen acts were admitted to the contest, which rewarded original music with studio recording sessions. The first edition established Mugello Sonoro as a summer event dedicated to young talents of the Tuscan territory.
