Movimentale – Dance and Video Art Festival

Movimentale in 2025

The 2025 edition follows a path that is now nearly twenty years old. Born in 2006, Movimentale has grown by traversing some of Naples' most active cultural institutions—from the MADRE museum and the Goethe-Institut to the Teatro Area Nord—and building a precise identity: a festival that does not just host shows, but chooses a location each time and reactivates it through movement.

In 2025, the project by the Interno 5 association, with artistic direction by Antonello Tudisco and organizational management by Hilenia De Falco and Vincenzo Ambrosino, once again brought together its three historical pillars: auteur contemporary dance, the section dedicated to video art and video dance, and the training work of Movimentale_Lab, with workshops aimed at professionals and inclusive paths open to those without a dance background.

This patient work within the territory of the Municipality of Naples and the Campania region paved the way for the 2026 edition, the twentieth anniversary, hosted by the Museo e Real Bosco di Capodimonte with a program spread from June to December.
