MoVeg – Sustainability and Conscious Living Festival

MoVeg 2025, the first edition

The debut of MoVeg – Mosciano Vegetale took place on September 20 and 21, 2025, at Largo del Castello in Mosciano Sant'Angelo. The event, promoted by the Municipality of Mosciano Sant'Angelo with the patronage of the Province of Teramo, was born from the collaboration with associations, local businesses, and professionals in the fields of health and sustainable nutrition.

The official opening, at 4:45 PM, featured greetings from Mayor Giuliano Galiffi and the administration, followed by a speech by Prof. Dino Mastrocola, Rector Emeritus of the University of Teramo, on the relationship between food, health, and the environment. The program also included the talk "Is it possible to eat vegan in Abruzzo?" with Vegan Abruzzo, creative recycling workshops for children, and an agricultural and artisanal market featuring dozens of virtuous businesses.
