Even during the cold season, Roseto Valfortore offered a programme of events that drew visitors to the Monti Dauni village. Between concerts, storytelling sessions, tastings of local products accompanied by folk music, and events tied to local traditions, the town brought its squares, churches, and historic centre to life. The Santa Cecilia concert, featuring the «Città di Roseto» band and the parish choir in the Mother Church, along with initiatives held between late autumn and winter, represented the natural precursor to the spirit with which the Mountain Festival would later take shape, placing culture at the heart of life in this Puglian village.
