Edition 2025 — EXTINCTION - Dinosauri in Carne e Ossa

In 2025, the Monastery of San Benedetto in Gubbio hosted the exhibition EXTINCTION - Dinosaurs in Flesh and Bone, featuring life-size paleo-sculptures, fossils from the Gola del Bottaccione, and workshops for families, offering a journey through paleontology and evolution linked to the famous geological site of Gubbio.

The exhibition EXTINCTION - Dinosaurs in Flesh and Bone animated the Monastery of San Benedetto in Gubbio throughout 2025, welcoming visitors, schools, and families. The exhibition showcased hyper-realistic dinosaur paleo-sculptures, fossils from the Gola del Bottaccione, and installations dedicated to the geological history of the planet.

Curated by paleontologists and developed with the involvement of the University of Perugia, the exhibition highlighted the scientific heritage of the Eugubino territory, with educational workshops designed for younger audiences.
