Edition 2025 — Crucifix Festival

On Saturday, May 3, 2025, Bisacquino celebrated the Most Holy Crucifix Festival, the "Tri di Maju" festival. As per tradition, the thirty-two statues of the Saints from the neighborhood churches gathered in the Mother Church to pay homage to Christ on Bellacera's vara, before the grand evening procession along the streets of the Madonie village.

2025 Edition

The 2025 edition of the "Tri di Maju" festival took place on May 3rd in Bisacquino, in the province of Palermo. The day followed the usual proceedings: morning celebrations and High Mass, the evocative afternoon gathering of the thirty-two statues of the Saints in the Mother Church, and the evening procession with the artistic wooden vara of the Most Holy Crucifix. The ritual concluded with the bowing of the Saints and the farewell to the Crucifix, confirming once again that the festival is the most deeply felt moment of the year for the Bisacquino community.
