Edition 2025 — SS. Crocifisso Lercara Friddi

From September 17 to 20, 2025, Lercara Friddi celebrated the 349th edition of the Most Holy Crucifix Festival. The opening on the 17th featured the firing of mortars, the solemn octave mass, and the lighting of the illuminations; on the 18th, the traditional livestock fair at dawn and the collection rounds with the band. The procession of the statue and the fireworks marked the central days, while on September 20, the free concert by Fausto Leali in Piazza Duomo closed the festivities.

2025 Edition — the 349th

The 2025 edition of the Most Holy Crucifix Festival in Lercara Friddi reached the milestone of the 349th edition, taking place from September 17 to 20. The festivities kicked off on September 17 at 6:00 PM with the firing of mortars, followed by the solemn octave mass and the switching on of the light displays.

On September 18, at dawn, the traditional livestock fair was held, while the town band accompanied the confraternity on their collection rounds. The solemn procession of the statue of the Crucified Christ and the fireworks displays enlivened the central days. The grand finale, on Saturday, September 20 at 9:30 PM in Piazza Duomo, was entrusted to the free concert by Fausto Leali, who performed the most famous songs from his repertoire.
