Edition 2025 — Mori Carnival

In 2025, the Mori Carnival ran from February 16 to March 4 (Shrove Tuesday), touching every district of the Municipality. Each community offered its own pasta party: from Manzano with polenta, sauerkraut, and mortadella to the Gran Carneval of Mori Vecio, closing with maltagliati with meat sauce. A long season of popular, free-admission festivals organized by the associations of the Vallagarina valley.

The 2025 edition of the Mori and Districts Carnival confirmed its status as the "longest carnival in Trentino," unfolding from February 16 to March 4, 2025. It opened in Manzano (polenta, sauerkraut, and mortadella) and continued in Sano with tomato gnocchi, in Valle San Felice and Ravazzone with maltagliati with meat sauce, in Tierno with the "sgnoccolada" and bigoi with sardines, in Besagno, in Loppio (spaghetti with sardines and polenta), and in Molina (penne with meat sauce).

On Carnival Monday, the Mori oratory hosted pasta and games for children, while on Shrove Tuesday, the historic center celebrated the final Gran Carneval of Mori Vecio with maltagliati with meat sauce. The local associations, under the patronage of the Municipality of Mori (Province of Trento), managed the free-admission banquets, with some days postponed due to bad weather.
