The 2025 Edition

The 2025 edition of the Morellino Classica Festival confirmed the formula that made the festival famous: over ten international classical music concerts distributed in the most evocative locations of the Morellino di Scansano territory, in the Province of Grosseto, under the artistic direction of Pietro Bonfilio.

The concerts took place between the Teatro Castagnoli and the Cantina dei Vignaioli in Scansano, the Castello di Potentino in Seggiano, the church in Montemerano, and the Abbazia di San Bruzio in Magliano in Toscana, intertwining great music, Etruscan archaeology, historic castles, and wineries. Among the most applauded events was the performance on August 6 at the Teatro Castagnoli with pianist Yuri Bogdanov and violinist Aiman Mussakhajayeva, and the free-admission concert on July 13 at the Cantina dei Vignaioli with a buffet supporting the Fiesole School of Music. As per tradition, many concerts were accompanied by a tasting of Morellino di Scansano DOCG.
