Truffle Festival and Chestnut Feast 2025

The 2025 edition celebrated the 35th Truffle Festival and the 53rd Chestnut Feast of Monzuno, in the Bologna Apennines, on the two Sundays of October 12 and 19, 2025. The heart of the festival was Piazza Salvo D'Acquisto, where from morning to evening, forest products were served at the stands and in the participating local businesses.

The gastronomic program featured polenta with sausage and mushrooms, wild boar, ragù, and squacquerone starting from midday, crescentine in the afternoon, and the sale of chestnuts and roasted chestnuts directly from chestnut growers. For truffle lovers, a dedicated menu was available by reservation.

To enrich the days, there were activities for children (including the reading 'Nonna Gioconda reads the classics' at 11 AM), markets for typical and artisanal products, and guided excursions on the trails of the Bologna mountains, as part of the widespread Truffle Festival promoted by the Metropolitan City of Bologna.
