Edition 2025 — Threshing Floor Festival

The 2025 edition of the Threshing Floor Festival took place on Sunday, August 17th, in Montursi, Gioia del Colle. The event once again offered an opportunity to experience the magic of ancient Murgia farming traditions, with vintage tractors and threshers brought back to life during the peak of the grain harvesting season.

On Sunday, August 17, 2025, the village of Montursi, a hamlet of Gioia del Colle, hosted the Threshing Floor Festival, described by local press as a true journey through time to rediscover the traditions of the farming world.

The heart of the event featured vintage tractors and threshing machines, restored and put back into operation for the occasion during the time of year that coincides with grain harvesting and ploughing in the Bari Murgia. There was no shortage of games and entertainment for adults and children, such as mini-bale races, all in the spirit of preserving the territory's ancient agricultural traditions.
