Montescudaio DOC Wine Festival

The 57th Montescudaio DOC Wine Festival was held from Thursday, October 2 to Sunday, October 5, 2025, spread throughout the historic center of the village in the province of Pisa. The festival opened on Thursday with the restoration ceremony of the "Porta di Bacco" statue and a book presentation in Piazza Matteotti, then moved into full swing on Friday with the vineyard walk led by winemaker Corrado Dalpiaz and a parade by the Monterosso di Terricciola band.

Saturday, October 4, featured the official opening at 4:30 PM with delegations from twin towns (Eberstadt, Brandýs nad Labem), guided tastings by Fisar, musical performances, and activities for children. Sunday marked the grand finale with the "Vino bike" tour through the vineyards, sensory wine journeys, live music in the squares, and the concluding fireworks display at 10:30 PM. A choral celebration of the wine and identity of Montescudaio and the Val di Cecina.

• 9:30 PM — Parade of the Monterosso di Terricciola band through the village streets.

Saturday, October 4, 2025

• 4:30 PM — Official opening with delegations from twin towns (Eberstadt, Brandýs nad Labem) and opening of producer stalls, street food, and crafts;
• 5:30 PM-6:30 PM — Guided tastings by Fisar (by reservation);
• Afternoon — Children's activities, face painting, and wine-themed workshops;
• From 7:00 PM — Live music and DJ sets in the squares.

Sunday, October 5, 2025

• 9:30 AM — "Vino bike," mountain bike tour through the vineyards;
• 10:30 AM — Official ceremony with the Filarmonica Mascagni and art competition awards;
• 3:00 PM, 5:00 PM, 7:00 PM — "Sensory wine journey" (by reservation);
• 4:00 PM-7:00 PM — Live music in the village squares;
• 10:30 PM — Final fireworks display.
