Monterotondo Marittimo Tortello Maremmano Festival

The 2025 edition of the Tortello Maremmano Festival confirmed the success of an event that has been enlivening the summer in Monterotondo Marittimo, in the Colline Metallifere in the province of Grosseto, for over fifty years. At the Pista ai Castagni festival area, the Pro Loco served the traditional tortello maremmano with ricotta and vegetables for several evenings, in variations with meat ragù, butter and sage, and walnut sauce, alongside grilled meats, sausages, and local side dishes.

As every year, the evenings were accompanied by live dance music and the convivial atmosphere typical of village festivals, with free admission to the event area. The 2025 edition thus represented another milestone in a gastronomic and popular tradition deeply rooted in the Maremma territory.
