Monterosso Grana Carnival — Flora and Balduino

The 2025 edition of the Monterosso Grana Carnival featured, as per tradition, the masks of Flora and Balduino, portrayed that year by Marta Damiano, from San Pietro Monterosso, and Matteo Dadone, a native of Monterosso Grana.

In early February, Mayor Stefano Isaia handed the keys to the town to the two masks, a symbolic gesture that opened the celebrations. "A sign of the vitality and spirit that distinguishes the Monterosso community," the mayor emphasized. The carnival festivities then took place over the following weeks in the heart of the Valle Grana in the province of Cuneo.
