Monterosso Almo Living Nativity

The 2024-2025 edition of the Monterosso Almo Living Nativity renewed, in its 38th year, one of the most deeply rooted Christmas traditions in the province of Ragusa. In the evocative Matrice district of the historic center, actors re-enacted the Nativity and scenes of daily life and work from the Iblean farming and artisan world.

In this edition as well, the procession started from Piazza San Giovanni, guiding visitors through the stone alleys to the grotto featuring the Holy Family and the Three Wise Men. The event, organized by the Amici del Presepe Association, confirmed its regional appeal, laying the groundwork for the 39th edition of 2025-2026.
