Monteroni di Lecce Carnival

The 2025 edition of the Monteroni di Lecce Carnival continued the town's historic carnival tradition, one of the most deeply rooted events in the Province of Lecce. Organized by the municipal administration in collaboration with the San Giovanni Bosco Oratory, the event brought allegorical floats, masquerade groups, individual masks, and pairs to the streets of the center, with the traditional parade concluding with the awards ceremony in Piazza Falconieri.

In this edition as well, the procession was enlivened by many local sports, musical, and dance associations, which contribute every year to the construction of the floats and the preparation of the masquerade groups, making the Monteroni Carnival a celebration for the entire community.
