Edition 2025 — Olive Oil Festival
The 30th edition of the Montemurlo Olive Oil Festival took place from November 14 to 16, 2025, in the Rocca village, celebrating thirty years of the event's history.
On Friday, November 14, the festival opened with the presentation of the book 'I trent'anni di storia della festa dell'olio' in the cellars of the Rocca Castle, followed by new oil tastings at the mill and the traditional oil dinner at the rectory. Saturday, November 15, featured exhibitions, cultural conferences, the Giuseppe Verdi Philharmonic concert for Saint Cecilia, and the theatrical performance 'Il partito del piombo'. Sunday, November 16, the highlight day, included the Camminolio walk against violence towards women, stands with fettunta, pappardelle, and tortelli, the local market, the historical pageant, and the Black & White gospel choir concert in the Pieve di San Giovanni Decollato.
