Montemurlo District Tournament

The 34th edition of the Montemurlo District Tournament closed on Tuesday, July 22, 2025, with the triumph of the Bagnolo district, which defeated Fornacelle in the final with a score of 2-0, thanks to goals by Elia Ruscillo and Alessandro Ferroni. The match was played at the Ado Nelli Stadium in Oste in front of over a thousand spectators, in what was defined as the most attended edition ever, with families, children, teenagers, and older people gathered in the stands. For Bagnolo, it was a victory awaited for thirteen years: the last title dated back to 2012. In that edition, the trophy was renewed in memory of Moreno Belli, former sports councillor of the Municipality of Montemurlo. Among the audience was also Christian Kouamé, a Fiorentina footballer originally from Montemurlo.
