Montelepre Carnival - U Matrimoniu

The 2025 edition of the Montelepre Carnival offered a rich calendar of events. Fat Thursday, February 27, at 4:00 PM, "Peppe Animazione" engaged the little ones with Disney-themed games, while at 9:00 PM, the Amadeus marching band performed a serenade under the future "bride's" balcony.

Friday, February 28, and Saturday, March 1, from 4:00 PM, at the Crypt of the Church of Santa Rosalia, the Children's Carnival was held, a singing competition featuring the town's children and teenagers. The grand finale arrived on Sunday, March 2, with "U Matrimoniu": the entire community poured into the square for the goliardic parody of the wedding, a huge open-air dance hall amidst crowds of masks, music, and a shower of confetti and streamers.
